The Normalization Committee revealed that FIFA lifts ban on Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) membership.
An official FIFA statement stated that the FIFA Council Bureau had decided, on 29 June 2022, to suspend the Pakistan Football Federation’s suspension from April 2021 due to undue third-party interference.
FIFA had confirmed that the normalization committee for the PFF had regained complete control over the PFF’s premises, and was in a position manage its finances.

After a hiatus of more than a year, the Pakistan Football Team will now be allowed to play in international friendlies and other football events.
After the illegal occupation by Ashfaq group of PFF headquarters, Pakistan was banned last year. The mandate of the Normalization Committee has been extended for an additional year. It is now tasked to conduct elections, resume football activities and take possession of PFF assets.
